Lil Rhody Laugh Riot Named Best New Live Event by Rhode Island Monthly’s Best of Rhode Island Readers’ Poll
PROVIDENCE, RI — Lil Rhody Laugh Riot was named Best New Live Event by Rhode Island Monthly readers during the annual Best of Rhode Island celebration on July 24th. The Best of Rhode Island celebrates The Ocean State’s best food, shopping, wellness, arts, and entertainment.

The inaugural comedy festival brought over 18,000 attendees to downtown Providence between March 27–30, 2025, hosted 30 performances across 10 venues, and featured 60 comedians including Matt Rife, Kevin Hart, Josh Johnson, Leslie Jones, Hannah Berner and Aziz Ansari. The four-day event blended world-class talent with local voices while supporting dozens of local businesses, vendors, and cultural institutions.
