A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums over three decades. Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-‐based musician fuses elements of Americana, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-‐defying manner that breaks down barriers.
John Hiatt, a master lyricist and satirical storyteller, weaves hidden plot twists into fictional tales ranging in topics including redemption, relationships, growing older and surrendering, on his terms. His music is rooted in acoustic blues, accentuated by a soulful, gritty voice, which mirrors the gravity of his reflective lyrics.
Together, Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt are two of the world’s most captivating and compelling musicians. An evening of blended rock and country from these two artists is not to be missed.

Tickets are available for purchase online, by phone at (401) 421-ARTS (2787), or at the PPAC Box Office located at 220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence. Box Office Hours are M-F, 10A–5P; Sat 10A-2P. Summer hours are M-Th 10A-3P. The VETS on-site Box Office is only open on show days. Children under the age of six are not permitted to attend performances unless it is designated as a family show. Please call the Box Office at (401) 421-2787 to see which shows are appropriate for younger children. All persons regardless of age are required to have a ticket for family shows. Ticket pricing subject to change without notice.
