FirstWorks presents Rosanne Cash - THE RIVER & THE THREAD IN CONCERT
Event Details
Make it a festival of Americana!
“… Ms. Cash has a voice both dark and sweet, and she knows how to convey the quiet sting of heartache.” —The New York Times
Legendary singer/songwriter Rosanne Cash hits the road with a full band and multimedia experience featuring music from her latest (and finest!) album, “The River & The Thread,” which garnered three Grammy awards this year. One of the most compelling figures in popular music, she inherited a reverence for song and profound artistry—and an equal duty to find insights of her own. These songs, written by Cash and her longtime collaborator and husband, John Leventhal, evoke the American South’s rich landscape—physical, musical, and emotional—and examine the indelible impressions it has made on our collective culture.
Premium ticket includes post-show bourbon-tasting & reception with Rosanne.
