CONDUCTOR ANNOUNCEMENT: Due to a visa issue, Tania Miller will be unable to join the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra for this weekend’s Romeo & Juliet program. We wish Maestra Miller the best and look forward to seeing her back in Providence soon. Returning to lead the Orchestra this weekend will be Alexander Mickelthwate. He previously conducted the Rhode Island Philharmonic Orchestra in the rousing 1812 Overture program which capped off our exciting 2019 season. We are thankful to Maestro Mickelthwate for stepping in on such short notice.
